History

Coinbrowser.com is the brain child of a once-young numismatist who struggled to find accurate and updated numismatic information on the internet. While some information is available, and a few websites are kept updated and contain valuable information, no single website had been designed with the idea of integrating all the information available about US Coins as well as numismatic resources, events and organizations. It did not take long for the founders of CoinBrowser.com to identify a unique opportunity to contribute to the numismatic community... and CoinBrowser.com was born.

CoinBrowser.com was launched in mid November 2005 and is becoming the main online portal for numismatists. CoinBrowser.com is receiving thousands of visitors daily and this number is rapidly increasing. Not only CoinBrowser.com contains information about numismatic resources, organizations and events, but also contains a unique illustrated online catalog of U.S. coins. Our databases currently contain complete and accurate information about thousands of U.S. coins, including updated market values for most of these coins in different conservation grades. Our coin database is currently being expanded to include other countries as well. Also in our databases you will find information about over one thousand coin shows and events and hundreds of numismatic organizations.
